The Dominie School

"The Dominie is a very good school with a significant number of strengths. It has a very good ethos which encourage and celebrates the pupils' progress and achievement." (Ofsted Report December 2003).

The school is owned and run by Lesley Robertson, who is also Head teacher, and Anne O'Doherty, the school Director. They have built "a delightful, heartening oasis for average to bright children hindered by dyslexia or dyspraxia, who require an intimate, industrious and caring environment". (Good Schools Guide, 2005)
