Our purpose is clear... to help children flourish - their way
The Dominie is a vibrant co-educational day school for children aged 6 to 12. We have created a school that is nurturing, adaptable, and belongs to the children.
With a maximum of 31 children at the school at any one time our class sizes are small, thus creating a high staff-to-pupil ratio which allows us to invest the time needed to provide a bespoke programme of learning for every child; giving each one the opportunity to thrive.
Our multi-sensory approach to learning engages the children together with a range of teaching methods, building on each individual child's recent progress. Our ability to do this embraces the natural curiosity of all children and nurtures a love of learning.
Through encouragement, timely support and our unique environment, Dominie pupils realise their potential to achieve and overcome their challenges to make progress.
The Dominie is registered with the Council for the Registration of Schools Teaching Dyslexics (CReSTeD) Category DSP and is a member of The British Dyslexia Association (BDA).
